Candidate for VP External

ANNA

MRC is drastically lacking in student participation. It is my belief that most students at MRC do not know the full extent of the SA duties or abilities. The SA is at Mount Royal to relay the opinions and wants of MRC students to bureaucrats that otherwise would have no interest in those students. It is up to us, the students, to go forward & voice our concerns to members of the SA to ensure an enjoyable college experience and so that the SA can perform their duties efficiently.

As VP External I will bring your thoughts & concerns to outside associations and attempt to make a difference. As VP External I will challenge notions & stand up for our rights as post-secondary students. Those of you who know me know that I enjoy challenges & am always more than willing to speak my mind. I will represent the SA & students in the community & in the  legislature with my knowledge of students opinions & desires that - you - MRC students may always feel free to tell me.

My goal as VP External is to increase student participation in decisions affecting students in turn increasing student representation. I believe in myself and the students of MRC, given the opportunity I know that I will excel in this position & the duties included.
