Always ask yourself, “Am I enjoying this?” College life should not feel like a chore. You get paid to do chores and you pay to go to school here. See the distinction! Through my own personal involvement with the Students’ Association and the Education Undergraduate Society as VP Activities, I’ve realized that after all the stress and pressure that you deal with each week, there comes a need for breathing, sitting, and relaxing. As your VP Activities, I’ll look out for the lighter side on Mount Royal College doing my best to make your time spent here worth while.

There are also many serious issues within the school that affect everyone and they need to be recognized and dealt with with your needs in mind. Your awareness of these issues is just as important as having someone advocate for you and this is a major goal of mine. Just as the SA is essential to the running of the school, your voice is equally important to the SA… and it needs to be heard.
