ELECTION PLATFORM:

Responsible, Effective Leadership

  • Speak with students to create an awareness about and to come up with possible solutions for post-secondary issues facing them including tuition and government funding.

  • Work through Provincial and Federal lobbying bodies (CASA, ACTISEC) to ensure a quality education is accessible to all those qualified regardless of their financial situation.

  • Be accessible to the media, on campus and off, to communicate SA initiatives and issues concerning students.

  • Work with the rest of the SA executive to promote the Association, encourage student involvement and deal with issues related to Wyckham House expansion.

  • Transfer my broad knowledge of post-secondary issues into working models that will benefit all members of the SA. Knowledge I have acquired as a Reflector editor, covering stories concerning tuition, government funding and the Students’ Association through conversations with current SA executives, government representatives and college administration. I have seen the issues from all sides.
