ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Voting Eligibility

All Active members of the Students' Association are able to vote in the election and to run for office on the Students’ Association Executive Committee and Students' Council.

Eligibility to Run for Office

Essentially, any full-time credit student at Mount Royal College who has maintained a Grade Point Average of at least 2.0 and is a member in good standing of the Students' Association is eligible to run for office. Nominations for Students' Council and for Executive positions occur in early February. It is suggested that any-one who is interested in running for Executive positions meet with the person current holding the position and the Executive Director of the Students' Association.

Please go to the Students' Association offices in Room Z201, located on the 2nd floor of Wyckham House, for more information or to pick up a nomination package.

For more information on Students' Council and/or the Executive Committee, please refer to the most current SAMRC By Laws. Bylaws are available online and at the SAMRC Reception area in Room Z201.
