Bio

I have been attending Mount Royal University for the past three years, starting my fourth and final year in the Fall 2011 semester. I am majoring in History and taking a minor in Sociology. I have been a member of Students’ Council for the past two years, first as the Women’s representative and second as the Commissioner to the Vice President Academic.

As a member of Students’ Council, I also sat on numerous committees, such as General Faculties Council, Academic Program and Planning Committee, and the Membership Development Fund Committee just to name a few.

I was born in Houston, Texas and moved to Calgary ten years ago when my father’s company transferred him to Canada. I have a younger sister, who is my best friend, who is on the east coast attending post secondary as well. I like both cats and dogs, my favorite color is red, and I like old black and white movies. My favorite thing to do in my spare time is to spend time with my family and friends, watch movies, and go for long walks outside in the sunshine. Nova Scotia is like a home away from home for me and I try and visit there often. After I graduate from Mount Royal, I hope to pursue a career in Archival Studies. I love to be active and always on the go.
