| The Pride Centre is dedicated to fostering a safe, inclusive, and celebratory environment for people of all genders and sexual orientations. We provide education, information, referral services and peer-support. The Pride Centre organizes social and political activities on-campus and promotes sexual and gender diversity at Mount Royal University. | ![]() |

We help students through our commitment to eliminate discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity. The Pride Centre is a place where LGBTTIQQ2AS students and their supporters will not feel marginalized or discriminated; where they can access services and resources to improve their university experience and their lives in general.

| The Pride Circle is a chance to meet like minded people, eat and drink, and discuss topics around gender and sexuality. Pride Circle is a pot-luck so bring a snack to share! Drinks, plates, and cutlery will be provided. Dates and times to be determined for the 2011-2012 academic year. |
Pride Centre’s Queer Arts Festival February 6-8, 2012 West Gate 10-3pm daily February 3rd is the submission deadline for the February 6-8 Queer Arts Festival in SAMRU’s Pride Centre. All types of artwork are accepted, and all artists are welcome to submit – if you’re gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, transsexual, intersex, queer, questioning, two-spirited, asexual, straight or a supporter of the Pride Centre! |

| Let’s talk sex with Murry the Penguin The first and third Thursdays of each month the Pride Centre will host a question-and-answer session about topics about sex and sexuality that you’re interested in. Dates and times to be determined for the 2011-2012 academic year. |
