Pride Centre (Gender and Sexuality)

The Pride Centre is dedicated to fostering a safe, inclusive, and celebratory environment for people of all genders and sexual orientations. We provide education, information, referral services and peer-support. The Pride Centre organizes social and political activities on-campus and promotes sexual and gender diversity at Mount Royal University.

Some of the services and programs we offer are:

• Resource library including magazines
• Peer counselling
• Sexual and reproductive education
• Free condoms including latex-free, female condoms, Magnum, and dental dams
• Referral services
• Pride Circle pot-luck lunches
• Gender and sexual diversity workshops
• Movie days with LGBT positive and gender inclusive movies

We help students through our commitment to eliminate discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity. The Pride Centre is a place where LGBTTIQQ2AS students and their supporters will not feel marginalized or discriminated; where they can access services and resources to improve their university experience and their lives in general.
